Proverbs gave us wisdom in the fear of God alone, Ecclesiastes warned that life is empty on its own. The Song declared a covenant, a faithful love and true, Then prophets cried, “Return to God; His mercy waits for you.” Verse 4 Isaiah saw the suffering One, the King who yet would reign, Jeremiah wept for Judah and spoke new covenant gain. Ezekiel saw the glory and the promise of new hearts, Daniel saw God’s kingdom stand when earthly power departs. Hosea showed a faithful love that would not let them go, Joel called the people back before the trumpet’s blow. Amos cried for justice, Micah taught the humble way, And Jonah learned God’s mercy reaches enemies who pray. Bridge From Obadiah’s warning, to Nahum’s judgment cry, Habakkuk learned to trust the Lord though evil filled the sky. Zephaniah saw restoration after judgment’s flame, Haggai said, “Build the house; give glory to His name.” Zechariah saw the King, the pierced One yet to come, Malachi said, “Prepare the way; the Lord is coming soon.” Then silence waited through the years until the heavens stirred, And in the fullness of the time came Jesus, living Word. Acts rang out with Spirit fire from Jerusalem’s street, Romans preached salvation full for all who would believe. Corinthians called the church to truth, to holiness, and grace, Galatians cried, “By faith alone, not works, we take our place.” Verse 6 Ephesians showed one body, raised and seated in the Son, Philippians sang joy in chains until the race is run. Colossians crowned Christ over all, sufficient and supreme, Thessalonians said, “Live holy; soon you’ll see the King.” Timothy and Titus taught the church to guard the Word, Philemon showed forgiveness when gospel grace is heard. Hebrews showed our High Priest, better covenant, better blood, James declared that living faith bears fruit before our God. Final Verse Peter called the suffering saints to hope and holiness, John said walk in light and love, in truth and righteousness. Jude said contend for the faith once given to the saints, Then Revelation thundered, “Christ shall end all sin and pain.” The Lamb is on the throne, and one day He will descend, Every tear will be wiped away, and death itself shall end.
